Plumbing Tiny House Basics

You will need experience to do plumbing work for a Tiny Home, this isn’t something you want to mess around with if you don’t know what you’re doing. After you insulate the walls and put on the interior you can’t change the piping.

Drilling Holes in all the right places

The plumbing should run through the walls of the Tiny home with copper and PVC Piping. The Kitchen Sink, Bathroom Sink, and Shower are the only necessities you will need to provide plumbing for. You’re gonna need to weld and forge the copper piping together for a proper seal, call a professional to do this.

Drill holes through the walls and bottom of the floor for the Shower and sinks and run the PVC Piping as close to the upper part of the trailer as possible. The PVC Piping is for drainage only and will lead the water to and from the holding tanks.

Plumbing the Shower

You’ll need to drill a whole 3 inches in diameter to fit a PVC pipe for the water to drain from the shower to the holding tank for the waste water. Make sure to add a U Shape PVC Pipe along the route of the Waste water holding tank to the shower so the Smell of the waste water doesn’t come up through the shower.

Use copper piping to push the water into the shower head. Run the Copper piping through the walls and have it meet up with the Kitchen Sink and Bathroom sink. It should all flow in one direction and you’ll need to run it through the Water heater.
