To save space inside your Tiny Home you can put shelves and closet space under the stairs. This is a HUGE SPACE SAVER. To do this buy thicker 4×8 wood for your stairs, usually costs around $40 to $50 for a 4×8 piece, and support that wood under and around the stairs by mounting pieces to the wall and under each stair. Make sure to make the stairs 18 inches wide so that you can fit a clothes hanger in there to hang clothes from the closet, and when building them up to the loft make sure you can comfortable and easily step up from stair to stair as you climb into the loft area. Don’t go over 14 inches a step 12 inches to 14 inches is good. A ladder is 12 inches for every step but you can go over that a little and still comfortably walk up the stairs.
